Thirty years ago, I found myself in charge of a tiny organization with no idea of how to make it successful. When I stepped out of executive leadership in 2026, we had a budget of nearly 15 million dollars and a solid reputation for effective work. Getting there was far harder than I imagined, and what I learned along the way surprised me.
Today, I am continually inspired by people with that same desire to change the world. If that is you, then I am here to help. Today, my mission is to pass on a bit of what I know now, which I wish someone had told me then.
